The Jacksonville Public Education Fund produces regular policy briefs called inBRIEF. Click on the Research tab for a list of all volumes of inBRIEF and other research reports produced by our organization on topics ranging from reading proficiency to school funding.

This work seeks to recognize, elevate and empower Duval County's best public school teachers. The Florida Blue Duval County Teacher of the Year is announced each year at the EDDY Awards, and offers unique programming to elevate the teaching profession throughout the year. Our advocacy efforts are the product of our combined efforts to research best policies and practices and listening to the community to learn what our schools need. Examples include Schools For the Future Academy, a new, innovative school for students who are two or more years overage for their grade. And through our new Advocacy Center, we aim to amplify the voice of the community, connecting you with decision-makers in our community.
The Jacksonville Public Education Fund serves as the primary manager of grants through the Quality Education for All Fund, which is an initiative of The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida. You can learn more about the Quality Education for All Fund at www.QEAFund.org.
The Jacksonville Public Education Fund’s Teacher Roundtable elevates the voices of Duval County’s best public school teachers while empowering them to help each other and educate the community about the importance of high-quality instruction in public education.
