School Board Candidate Academy

This year the Jacksonville Public Education Fund (JPEF) hosted the first ever School Board Candidate Academy. The objective of this one-day intensive workshop is to strengthen the knowledge and understanding school board candidates have about current educational issues. The academy hopes to provide a clear understanding of relevant issues that the members will face in their potential role through data-driven discussion and exposure to Jacksonville parent, student and teacher voices.
