This week, Duval County public school students began taking the new Florida Standards Assessment. As you may already know, school districts throughout Florida have had technology difficulties with administering the new assessment.
And it's' not just that. Parents, caregivers, teachers and community members have a lot of questions about the new standards and the test. Want to find answers to your questions and concerns - and make your voice heard to decision-makers?
Plan to attend the next ONE by ONE Public Education Forum on March 30, where you'll get important information about the changes and what's happening in Tallahassee. Most importantly, you'll get a chance to discuss this issue with public education advocates from around Duval County, and be empowered to speak up and speak out!
