As you know, the landscape of school choice options is expanding. Parents choose to enroll their children in many different types of schools, for a wide variety of different reasons.
But what's driving those decisions? That's the focus of our next research study - and we can't do it without your help.
That's why we're conducting a community-wide parent survey on student enrollment decisions in Duval County. To get an accurate representation of parents throughout the county, we want all parents, regardless of where their students are enrolled, to share what led them to select a particular school for their child. We need parents of students in public, private, charter, home school and virtual school to participate!
If you are a Duval County resident and have a child ages 5-18 or know someone who does, can you take the survey and forward it to others you know?
As a thank you to participants, we're giving away five $100 Visa gift cards. Learn more about the survey and participate at www.schoolchoicesurvey.org.
Your participation will contribute to a community-wide understanding of how parents make schooling choices for their children. The resulting report will be shared with all of you in the fall.
If you have any questions about the survey or if you are interested in participating in a focus group session about this topic, please contact our Research Analyst, Kelly Turner, at (904) 274-3389 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
