Dr. Sito Narcisse served as the school superintendent of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System before stepping down in January. His choice to step down was the result of the school board voting not to renew his contract. He served in that role with the second-largest school district in Louisiana for three years. He also has experience working as a chief of secondary school for the District of Columbia Public School in Washington D.C. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, Harvard Business School, Vanderbilt University and Kennesaw State University.

“I’ve worked in other large complex school districts like the Duval County Public Schools System. I recognize the challenges faced and the creative solutions required to improve student outcomes, support teachers and staff, and help families navigate and advocate for their children,” Narcisse said.
