Chat with the Supe - January 19

  • Date: Tuesday, Jan 19, 2016
  • Time: 6:00PM to 7:00PM
  • Where: Southside Baptist (Fellowship Hall), 1435 Atlantic Blvd., 32207

“Chat with the Supe” is an opportunity for the general public to engage in an informal conversation with Superintendent Nikolai Vitti about any education topic they are interested in, which may include testing, school grades, accountability changes, proposed boundary changes, uniforms, safety, literacy, curriculum, or improving student performance.

With the Superintendent approaching his three year anniversary on the job in November, it allows the opportunity to engage stakeholders on the state of education in the district. Parents/guardians, teachers, students, and all community members are welcome to attend and participate. There will be no formal presentations on any topics. Instead, simple question and answer time with the Superintendent. Specific student related issues and concerns should be addressed at the school or district level and not at these forums. Media will be welcomed at all events.
