Dads Take Your Child to School Day

  • Date: Wednesday, Sep 27, 2017
  • Time: 6:00AM to 10:00AM
  • Where: All Duval County Schools

This is a statewide initiative led by the Florida Department of Education designed to encourage fathers and father figures to show their child they value and support their education by bringing them to school and remaining involved throughout the school year. This year’s event will focus on military fathers, but all fathers and father figures will be invited to participate as districts throughout the state of Florida celebrate this day together. Last year, fathers, grandfathers, foster fathers, stepfathers, uncles, cousins, big brothers, male caregivers, mentors and family friends all showed their support for students across the state through their participation.
