Talent Study

Learn about how Duval County compares to other school districts across the nation when it comes to recruiting and retaining high quality teachers, building a strong school leader pipeline and engaging parents, caregivers and community stakeholders.

What is the Talent Study?

The goal of the Talent Study is to strengthen schools by equipping stakeholders with the information they need to make decisions in the best interest of children and advocate for evidence-based improvements to our public schools.

We plan to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to recruit and retain high quality teachers, build strong leadership pipelines, and equip parents/caregivers and community stakeholders with knowledge to advocate for all students.

Key Questions:

  • How can we improve recruitment and retention of high-quality teachers?
  • How does high-quality school leadership look and how can we strengthen our school leader pipeline?
  • How can we increase the number and capacity of actively engaged parents/caregivers to become leaders who advocate for all children?

If you or someone you know wants to participate in the Talent Study, please contact us at kimberly@jaxpef.org.
