Election results: Runoffs in Districts 3, 7

Two of the four races for Duval County School Board will go to a runoff in the general election.
In District 3, Ashley Smith Juarez (33.9%) and Suzanne Jenkins (36.7%) were the top vote-getters. They will face off in the November 6 general election. You can find their full biography and positions on key issues at schoolboard2012.org.
In the crowded six-person race for District 7, Jon Heymann (24.6%) and Jason Fischer (27.5%) are the two front-runners and will also face off on November 6. You can learn about both candidates here, although Fischer did not submit a questionnaire in response to the requests from our partner organizations.
