A glimpse into Duval Teacher of the Year Finalist Will Smith's classroom

4/11/2018

Great teaching and learning are happening every day in Duval County Public Schools, and we're excited to provide a glimpse into five of those classrooms. As a part of the EDDY Awards and Gala, we have a video journalist spend time with each of our five finalists for Duval County Teacher of the Year. The videos are played each year for the attendees at the EDDY Awards, and we are excited to share these videos this week with the Jacksonville community!

To get us started, here's a glimpse into 2018 Florida Blue Duval Teacher of the Year Finalist Will Smith's classroom.

Do you know a great teacher who deserves to be celebrated? Share your story via our Teachers Are More campaign and help us reach 100,000 messages of thanks on social media to show our teachers that we know about and appreciate all of the hard work they do to ensure that students grow into responsible citizens who can contribute in meaningful ways to our great city!
