Applicants for superintendent are out

This week, the Duval County School Board released the names of applicants to be the next superintendent of Duval County Public Schools.

The 30 names and applications can be found at the district's Superintendent Search website.

The names include internal and external candidates, including two top district administrators and superintendents and top administrators from outside Duval County. What are the next steps? The school board will meet with the search firm to review the applicants at 10 a.m. on August 16 10:00 a.m. Candidate interviews are scheduled for August 28 at 10 a.m. at the Schultz Center.
