Celebrating our Duval County teachers and local PTAs

The Jacksonville Public Education continues to celebrate, support and show our appreciation of our Duval County public school teachers. On May 31, our organization sponsored the Teacher VIP Zone at the Duval County Public Schools P.E.P. Rally. Teachers were greeted by Teachers of the Year and community volunteers, given swag bags full of goodies, entered into a fantastic prize drawing and treated to their own special lounge and refreshments.

The first 200 teachers received individual Cummer Museum of Art & Garden Memberships. Local teachers that have fully funded projects on PowerUP Jax spread awareness among their peers as well. Community members were entered into a back-to-school raffle prize as well.

Take a look at the memorable photos our our Teacher VIPs here! Be sure to tag those you may know on our Facebook page here.

The Duval County Council PTA released the award winning PTAs and PTSAs. Congratulations to all of the winners!
