Celebrate Duval County's Teachers of the Year!

On March 14, the Jacksonville Public Education Fund and the Schultz Center for Teaching and Leadership will co-host the 2013 Florida Blue EDDY Awards, recognizing Duval County's top teachers.

Through a school-based nominating process 162 teachers were named their school's teacher of the year.  Selection committees narrowed that group down to 15 finalists and then five finalists.  The 2013 Duval County Teacher of the Year will be named on March 14 at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts.

The awards ceremony will be followed by a champagne and dessert reception. We hope you will join us in celebrating their work. Purchase tickets here.

Stay tuned, because here on the blog, we will be sharing bios of the five finalists starting next week!
