Election results: Cheryl Grymes wins in District 1

August 14 School Board election results are in! CherylIn the two-person race for Duval County School Board District 1, Cheryl Grymes has been declared the winner.
Grymes, who was challenging incumbent Martha Barrett, won with a solid 55.7 percent of the vote.

Grymes is currently Vice President of Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida. You can learn more about her here.
