Research
JPEF conducts independent analysis and research on best practices to bring innovation and data to decision-makers, including school leaders and administrators within Duval County Public Schools and other public school operators.
Public Education Perceptions Poll
Every year, JPEF partners with the Public Opinion Research Laboratory at University of North Florida to conduct a scientific poll of the Jacksonville community's perceptions of public education. Questions include how well they perceive the performance of our public schools, what their priorities are for choosing a school, and topical questions to help inform policymakers about the community's priorities.
School Board Academy
Every two years, parts of Duval County vote for members of the Duval County School Board. JPEF engages the community and the candidates in dialogue about community priorities for public education. In 2018, we hosted our first-ever School Board Candidate Academy to inform candidates about the performance of our public schools and bring parents, teachers and students to speak to candidates about their vision for public education.
