Stuff the Bus
First Coast News’ annual school supply drive returns Friday, July 31, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., giving community members, companies, and volunteers the opportunity to help local students and teachers start the school year strong.
United Way of Northeast Florida is turning the bus keys over to JPEF to lead Stuff the Bus in Duval County. JPEF is honored to carry this important tradition forward, building on our deep connections with teachers, schools, and community partners.
The need remains clear: Teachers often spend their own money to make sure students have the supplies they need. Stuff the Bus is a simple, meaningful way for the community to step in and support classrooms across Duval and Clay counties.
Participation is easy:
Companies and groups can host a school supply drive and drop off collected supplies on July 31.
See the Supply List Here
Individuals can shop for supplies and drop them off during the event. No registration is needed.
Volunteers can lend a hand on July 31 or help sort supplies after the event.
Community members can also donate online by texting CLASSROOMS26 to 30306.
In Duval County, donations can be dropped off at:
The Markets at Town Center
Near Sprouts
4865 Town Center Parkway
Jacksonville, FL 32246
Now is the time to rally your coworkers, friends, and family to help stuff the bus and support local classrooms. Every pack of pencils, box of crayons, backpack, and donation helps ensure students have the tools they need to learn and thrive.
