Don’t forget to cast your vote for your favorite PowerUP Jax project!

10/31/2016

Twenty teachers were selected to receive grants from the Community First Cares Foundation to fund innovative projects in their classrooms, and now they each have the chance to win an extra $150 to put toward their project – but they need YOUR help!

Take a look here to read the highlights of each project and to vote for your favorite. The project with the most votes takes home the extra prize money to use toward their project.

The projects selected this year were creative and innovative, spanning various grade levels and subject matters. Projects ranged from teachers organizing a TED style event for their classroom, to museum visits, to science experiments, and more! The Jacksonville Public Education Fund believes it’s important to help provide teachers with tools in the classroom to promote creativity and expand the minds of students. We know that teachers have creative and exciting ideas to implement in their classrooms, and we are pleased to be a part of making those projects come to life.

Voting closes on November 1, so don’t wait, support your favorite project today!
