Gary Chartrand elected state board chairman

Jacksonville Public Education Fund Board Member Gary Chartrand, was unanimously elected Chairman of the Florida State Board of Education earlier today. Chartrand, currently the Executive Chairman of Acosta Sales & Marketing and board member of the Jacksonville Public Education Fund, is a strong business leader and has been actively involved in education efforts in Jacksonville.We congratulate Gary and are excited for him to continue his work at the state level to push for improved public education for all students throughout Florida.
