Hershey elected to represent District 7 at Duval County School Board
The 2016 election results are in! In addition to the controversial presidential race, residents of Jacksonville were also able to cast their ballot for School Board representative in District 7. The Duval County School Board is a crucial group of elected officials that have a big impact on the direction of our city.
Lori Hershey has been elected to represent District 7 at the Duval County School Board. Hershey is a Jacksonville native and has been an active Duval County Public School volunteer and parent for more than two decades. She has served on PTSA boards, School Advisory Committees, booster boards and the DCPS School Safety and Security Advisory Committee. She has also worked with education nonprofits like Communities In Schools of Jacksonville.

The school board is the official policy-making body for all education-related issues in Duval County Public Schools, and they lay the foundation on which we can build to keep our city on track to providing quality education and supplying our workforce with quality employees.
