JPEF President elected to board of Consortium of Florida Education Foundations

Rachael Tutwiler Fortune to serve as vice-chair of Finance

The Consortium of Florida Education Foundations recently elected Rachael Tutwiler Fortune, President of Jacksonville Public Education Fund, as Vice-Chair of Finance. Rachael is one of four officers who, along with five local education foundation leaders, govern the Consortium, a membership organization for Florida’s district-wide local education foundations. 

Established in 1987, the Consortium is the membership organization for the education foundations aligned with Florida’s county-wide school districts.  The mission of the Gainesville-based statewide organization is to facilitate partnerships and build the capacity of its members that collectively raise more than $83 million annually to innovate learning and support students and teachers through a variety of programs.
