JPEF President Rachael Tutwiler Fortune Elected to Consortium of Florida Education Foundations

The Consortium of Florida Education Foundations recently elected Rachael Tutwiler Fortune, President of Jacksonville Public Education Fund, as a Member-at-Large. Tutwiler Fortune is one of five local education foundation leaders who, along with four statewide officers, govern the Consortium, a membership organization for Florida’s district-wide local education foundations.            

Established in 1987, the Consortium is the membership organization for the education foundations aligned with Florida’s county-wide school districts. The mission of the Gainesville-based statewide organization is to facilitate partnerships and build the capacity of its members that collectively raise more than $83 million annually to innovate learning and support students and teachers through a variety of programs.
