ONE by ONE: Connect your community!

2/14/2012
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Here at JPEF we're hoping you will show your love for the Jacksonville community by hosting a ONE by ONE conversation at your home, church or other gathering place in your neighborhood.
Check out our campaign update below - and if you're not already subscribed to get updates about ONE by ONE, click here to sign up for the e-mail list.

Dear Friend,

Like an orchestra, our education system is composed of many players who must work together in order to make music.

That's why the core concept of ONE by ONE is that everyone in our community has a role to play - and ideas to bring to the table - when it comes to improving our schools and preparing our children for the future.

Do your friends, co-workers, neighbors and family members have a lot to say about public schools? Empower them to become a part of the solution! Gather your group of 8-15 people together at your home, church, business or other gathering place for a ONE by ONE conversation. We'll coordinate a date and time with you and provide trained facilitators to guide the discussion, which lasts about an hour and a half.

Sign up online to host a kitchen table chat or call us at (904) 356-7757. We'll answer any questions you may have prior to scheduling the conversation.

Following the conversation, everything that's said will be documented. This fall, our volunteer Community Advisory Team will bring everyone back together to identify the most important priorities - and put them into action.

Our future begins now. With your help, our community will be up to the challenge!
