ONE by ONE delegates are moving public education forward

3/13/2014

The excitement to improve public education in Duval County keeps moving along. After the Second Annual ONE by ONE Convention delegates have kept their commitment to move public education forward. Seven action teams have been formed, and many of you already have taken individual concrete actions to support public education.

So far, with the ONE by ONE Delegates' support we have increased the funding for innovative projects through PowerUP Jax, reaching a goal of $10,000 and 18 fully-funded projects. Also, several delegates have attended Parent Academy trainings and many of them have attended past Discover Duval Schools visits at some of the most remarkable local schools.

On March 25th, we will have another opportunity to meet as a collective to learn about the Community Progress Report and to discuss the best way of moving ahead with the action teams. Don't miss this opportunity to keep writing a new community narrative about public education. RSVP here!
