Thanks to some outstanding media coverage, the ONE by ONE campaign is generating substantial interest around town!

The exhibit is now up and running, as is the ONEbyONEjax.org website, and here at the Jacksonville Public Education Fund, we are readying for the big Community Opening event scheduled for Tuesday, September 13 from 4-8 p.m.

Some of the coverage included:

• A story on the evening news program of WJXT Channel 4 yesterday evening. Big thanks to Vickie Pierre for doing a comprehensive look at the program. Video and story are here:http://www.news4jax.com/education/29107061/detail.html

• An article in today's Florida Times-Union, highlighting the many partnerships it took to bring this initiative to fruition. Story here: http://jacksonville.com/news/metro/2011-09-08/story/cummer-museum-exhibit-meant-raise-awareness-public-education-needs

• An appearance by JPEF President Trey Csar, ONE in THREE photographer Ingrid Damiani, and Hope McMath, director of the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens on First Coast Connect with host Melissa Ross. The call-in program even took a call from Mayor Alvin Brown. Check out the replay here: http://www.wjctondemand.org/ or the First Coast Connect blog post here: http://www.wjct.org/blog/?p=2160.

• Articles in the September editions of Arbus and Buzz magazines, as well as Eco Latino.

• A shout-out to the business community support for ONE by ONE in the Jacksonville Business Journal.

Take a look at the coverage-then see it in person! We hope you can join us on September 13 and beyond.
