Superintendent search: Make your voice heard at community meetings!

6/14/2012
This week, the Duval County School Board announced the locations for four community meetings to get input from the public about the next superintendent. It is vital that the district hear from you!
The search is happening on a tight time frame, so the meetings are starting in just a few days. Take a minute to review the traits and characteristics that YOU think the next superintendent should have here. And take a look at the full superintendent search timeline here.

Make sure they know what our city needs in a new schools leader! Plan to attend one of these and RSVP to let us know you're coming:
Monday, June 18, 6 p.m. at Mandarin High School
Thursday, June 21, 6 p.m. at Fletcher High School
Monday, June 25, 6 p.m. at Forrest High School
Tuesday, June 26, 6 p.m. at Raines High School

We will have ONE by ONE T-shirts and stickers for anyone who would like them. Parents, feel free to bring your children - there is no better civics lesson than experiential learning!
