School Facts Jax to be featured at SXSWedu 2015!

10/16/2014

A few months ago, we asked for your help in sending us to the 2015 South by Southwest Education conference (SXSWedu) to share School Facts Jax with an audience of national education and technology leaders as an example of the innovative efforts happening around community engagement and public education in Jacksonville.  Today, we are thrilled to let you know you did it!

The program has been announced and we will be presenting at SXSWedu 2015 in March, along with co-panelists from Achieve Hartford!, Harvard University, and the Newark Trust for Education on the topic of making public data more accessible and engaging to everyone to help build an informed education community.  We'll also be featuring some exciting new upgrades to School Facts Jax (SFJ), which will be launching for you to see here first in the next few months.

Thank you so much for all your support and engagement as we continue trying to make SFJ and all of our data and research products the best they can be to meet your needs.  As we are working on the next phase of upgrades over the next few months, please stay involved by letting us know any ideas YOU have for how we could improve SFJ to provide additional information you are looking for by either using our feedback page or e-mailing us directly at jason@jaxpef.org or kelly@jaxpef.org.

Thanks again!
