“I think working through design thinking can improve practices in the classroom and schools.”

What is Design Thinking?

Design thinking is a problem-solving approach that emphasizes empathy, creativity, and collaboration. In education, it helps teachers, students, and school leaders tackle challenges by focusing on the people at the center of the experience—learners.

Instead of starting with “what’s wrong,” design thinking begins with understanding the needs, perspectives, and experiences of students, families, or educators. From there, solutions are developed through experimentation, feedback, and iteration.
